に存在するすべてのファイルを

  c:\USR\LOCAL\share\texmf\ptex\platex\misc\emath

にコピーします。

そのうえで，下のリストを ex2.tex として
タイプセットした結果はどうなるでしょうか。
エラーが出る場合は，ログファイルを再びコピーしてください。
