platex，dvipdfmx および ptex2pdf がちゃんとインストールされているかどうかは，
コマンドプロンプトからそれぞれ

platex --version

dvipdfmx --version

ptex2pdf -v

と入力して確認できます．

platex の場合

dvipdfmx の場合

などと表示されます．
% ただし，私は Linux の TeXLive 環境なので表示されるものが若干違うと思います．
